Completion is planned for 2026 - with three maintenance tracks, a commissioning track, a painting track, workshops, a materials warehouse and a modern social and office wing.

Hall 1 will triple the capacity for heavy maintenance of the ICE 4 fleet in Cottbus - and create space for future series.
