Recently, HÖRMANN Intralogistics celebrated a special handover to cargo-partner: HÖRMANN Intralogistics was able to automate a warehouse area in the iLogistics Center Vienna, a real eye-catcher with an ecological timber construction, for the renowned contract logistics company.
- With this project, they are expanding their capacities in spare parts logistics and strengthening their position as a 3PL provider in a dynamic market environment.
- To achieve this, they are taking the path of partial automation, with a manual narrow-aisle warehouse and AutoStore small parts warehouse in one system.
- HÖRMANN's own warehouse management system HiLIS controls the material flow and has been expanded to include specific functions for contract logistics/ 3PL. These include modular interfaces for client management, optimized order control and additional functions for inventory management and reporting.
