Focus on sustainable materials

The award-winning concept consistently relies on environmentally friendly, renewable raw materials:

  • Cork - natural and recyclable raw material with a unique look and feel
  • Natural fiber-Composites - ideal for structural applications thanks to high specific strength combined with low density
  • Hanffleece - excellent insulating properties ensure a pleasant atmosphere

This choice of material significantly reduces the carbon footprint, as short transportation routes and low-energy manufacturing processes are used.

Intelligent technology for more comfort

In addition to the materials, the concept impresses with well thought-out technical solutions:

  • Integral roof construction - Functionally integrated air ducts in a lightweight structure
  • TAIK elements (Thermally Active InteriorComponents) - use waste heat from the drive to efficiently air-condition the interior
  • Cocoon privacy screen - creates more privacy and peace and quiet for passengers in the coach

The result: Weight reduction, resource conservation and increased passenger comfort in one concept.

Multiple sustainability benefits

The interior concept contributes to greater sustainability on several levels:

CO₂-Reduction - through renewable raw materials
Lightweight construction - reduces vehicle weight and fuel consumption
Faster production and assembly - Roof system solution with functional integration
