HÖRMANN Magazine "mittendrin" with a focus on: HÖRMANNschaft
To overcome the major challenges of our time—such as demographic change, the technological shift toward digitalization and artificial intelligence, and changing values and personal lifestyles— we at the HÖRMANN Group have placed great emphasis on employee support and development within our HÖRMANN team for many years.
In the latest issue of “mittendrin,” Anna Katharina Kiefer, who is responsible for human resources at the HÖRMANN Group, describes the key components of the new HR strategy, SynergyHR2030.
“Attract employees—retain employees.” This motto has characterized the HÖRMANN Group’s HR strategy for many years. With this guiding principle, we express just how much the employees of the HÖRMANN Group mean to us. Excellent HR management is a key component of our corporate culture and a fundamental part of every manager’s leadership responsibilities. Our values—such as treating others as equals, respect, and appreciation—play an essential role in this. The many changes in our environment require us to continue developing the HÖRMANN Group’s human resources strategy.
In this context, training and continuing education, targeted leadership development, and the promotion of young talent play a particularly important role in succession planning. Furthermore, the transfer of knowledge from older to younger employees is becoming increasingly important for preserving expertise within the HÖRMANN Group, given the large number of employees who will be retiring in the coming years.
