We get trucks on the road - A conversation with Daniel Scondo

His expertise includes the development and supply of frame side members, frame attachments, chassis chassis and axles for light and heavy commercial vehicles. A passionate skier with a great passion for his craft - we spoke to him.

Focus on quality and safety

"We get trucks on the road," Daniel Scondo begins our conversation. "The average life cycle of a truck is around ten years. With the enormously high mileages and loads, quality and safety are the focus. My customer trusts us as a technical partner. We have many years of experience, offer expertise - and flexible solutions."

This trust is the foundation of his daily work. It is based on decades of experience and an understanding of the high demands of the commercial vehicle industry.

Visible everywhere - our contribution to the economy

"Trucks are becoming increasingly important for the transportation of building materials, industrial goods and consumer goods by road. Any of us can see our contribution when we are stuck in a traffic jam next to a truck on the highway," adds Daniel Scondo with a twinkle in his eye. "For example, the mostly black chassis is ours. Take a look at the complex construction of a truck chassis in detail the next time the highway is completely closed! It's quite something."

A charming invitation to look at our work from a new perspective - and to appreciate the complexity behind the scenes.

Innovation and partnership in flux

But there is much more to the technical components than steel and screws. The requirements are constantly changing:

"Each new generation of vehicles brings with it different requirements: lighter materials, greater efficiency, new standards and environmental regulations. As a partner, we have to react quickly and develop solutions that are technically and economically convincing. In the end, it's always about trust. My customer must be able to rely on us to deliver reliably, even when things get tight."

This attitude embodies the HÖRMANN values of power, innovation and responsibility - the key to long-term partnerships and sustainable success.

Motivation through visible success

With a smile, Daniel Scondo adds in conclusion: "I see a piece of our work in every truck I see on the road. That motivates me - we literally move what keeps the economy going."

This is exactly what makes the HÖRMANN Group what it is: We see the importance of our work - in every product that leaves our workshops and in every supply chain that runs smoothly thanks to our solutions.
