In December 2017, the Advisory Board of HÖRMANN Holding GmbH & Co. KG appointed long-standing authorised signatory and CFO Johann Schmid-Davis to the management of the holding company. He will support CEO Michael Radke as part of a two-person management team. HÖRMANN Holding is the parent company of the HÖRMANN Group, whose operating activities are bundled in HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, German Securities Code Number (WKN): A2AAZG).

Schmid-Davis has worked in various business roles at HÖRMANN Group since 2001. These include a four-year stint as CFO of listed subsidiary Funkwerk AG starting in September 2009. Schmid-Davis returned to HÖRMANN Holding in 2013, assuming Group-wide leadership of Corporate Finance. In April 2015, he was appointed to the management team of HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (then known as HÖRMANN Finance GmbH) and made Group CFO, in which role he successfully re-organised the financing structure with the 2013 bond issue and early refinancing in 2016.

According to a schedule of responsibilities, Schmid-Davis will be in charge of finance and accounting, controlling, treasury, financial market communications, information technology and legal affairs. Michael Radke, who has been appointed chief executive officer, will take responsibility for strategy and corporate development, holding operations, technology and innovation management, sales, corporate and marketing communications and personnel.

Dipl.-Ing. Hans Hörmann, founder of the HÖRMANN Group and chair of the Advisory Board, commented, ‘We intend to continue our Group’s current path towards further growth and a sustained increase in profitability and would like to wish both members of the management team all the best with that ambitious assignment.’
